This fight is to take place in November with a new 3 fight contract with Couture. This one will be for the Heavyweight title, which makes no sense considering Mir beat Lesnar. But I guess the UFC has to have that shitty Ultimate fighter show. The winner of the Mir-Nogueira fight will be the next contender for the Heavyweight title.

“As you all know, we’ve had problems with Randy over the last few months, but we’ve got them all worked out now. Randy has always been our heavyweight champion,” said kiss ass Dana White.

There was also a promise that Dana White would try to get the Fedor fight to happen sometime in 2009, but is not interested in doing a co-promotion with Affliction.
